Salary: Up to £50,000 p.a., dependent on experience

About the role:
HTG are looking for someone keen to build a world-class marketing team in the UK and globally. We are looking for an ambitious and talented Head of Marketing, or exceptional Marketing Manager ready to step up into a “Head of” position.
You will be responsible for developing an exciting and innovative Product/Proposition and subsequent Marketing Strategy. You will need to think strategically about how we differentiate ourselves from the competition in a very crowded market. A clear understanding of product and proposition along with a targeted approach to customer wins and long-term growth are essential. Experience of working alongside experienced B2B sales leaders is also important along with an ability to form a strong bond with the technical teams to ensure they are taken along on the journey. This position is critical in achieving the business’s strategic goals and delivering our business development targets.
Your main duties & responsibilities:
- Leading the critical marketing elements of a fast paced and high growth tech business, collaborating with the sales team, partners and the Leadership Team.
- Developing and executing an innovative and ambitious marketing strategy.
- Creating content-led marketing campaigns that engage and deliver, not just leads but, knowledge and thought leadership.
- Owning the pipeline through to deal stage and being responsible for developing a truly joined up Sales and Marketing Strategy.
- Managing a budget and ensuring marketing data is tracked and analysed to enable us to utilise our insights and take corrective action to guarantee a ROI.
- Collaborating with sales leadership to manage, measure, and optimise all aspects of the lead pipeline to ensure accurate and timely delivery of high-quality leads to enable us to operate as a multi-tiered sales and channel organisation.
- Working with external stakeholders to maximise investment in, and support for, the development of the Partnership Programme.
- Overseeing the execution of high-quality events across the UK and Ireland (and, in future, other geographies) covering internal, partner-led and externally organised events.
- Analysing campaign performance and making recommendations for optimisation and future enhancements.
You have:
- A demonstrable track record of 5+ years’ success in a relevant role.
- A Marketing degree, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- Capacity to understand concepts such as Ideal Customer Profile, Account-Based Marketing, and conversion rates with a data-driven approach around scoring of MQL, SQL, SAL, into Opportunity.
- The ability to react to market developments and opportunities in a positive, timely and constructive manner.
- A commitment to see initiatives through to completion.
- A track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- The aptitude and willingness to lead, coach and mentor a team.
- Budget-management experience.
- A hunger to develop and a passion for what you do.
